Nanaimo Airport (ICAO: CYCD)

The Nanaimo Airport is located 3nm northwest of the throat of Ladysmith Harbour. The airport features a 6,602'ft runway oriented NW-SE (34-16) with a displaced threshold on 34.

The Nanaimo Airport recently completed a Terminal Expansion project to serve larger aircraft in larger numbers. It is currently home to operations bases for Alkan Air, Skylink Express and FedEx Express.

The airport is also home to Vital Aviation, the resident flying school at YCD.
